Revised Update: Revisions finalized!


A quick update concerning the revised edition: I have officially completed the rules updates. My layout artist has finished the character sheet and the new cover art, and they are now working on the interiors. 

the full list of changes are as follows:

– Added clarification for combat encounters and how to construct missions around them
– Revamped the Lucky Draw mechanic to instead be a coin flip by default, renaming it to Lucky Flip.
– Changed certain enemies' Special Actions and weapons to make them feel more unique
– Expanded upon Traverse action's use in the fiction to move scenes along
– Revamped Action Mode actions to make combat less punishing and more viable for groups who want to engage in it more
– Did away with “tough spot” mechanic as it slowed the game down and became more unnecessary mechanics for characters to keep track of. Failing a Sharpness check after failing Parkour checks results in immediate Lucky Flips
– Hang Out action receives a chance for players to gain a +1 bonus to the group Bond check with roleplaying opportunities.
– Changed the free +1 bonus at character creation to be applicable to any stat, including Parkour
– Lessened the severity of failure conditions for several actions, including the check penalty from Take an Impact
– Removed “zipline gloves” from character Loadout and replaced it with “hacking tools.” The rope launcher now automatically includes gloves
– Added optional rule called “No Death” where players can retire their Couriers without necessarily killing them on a failed Lucky Flip
– Provided clarity for Loadout gear in the rulebook proper
